For the next project, i am going to produce a vector portrait using Adobe Illustrator. In this post, i am going to tell you on my ideas of making a vector portrait and show some of my best photo to be turn into a vector portrait, soon enough.
For a starter, i personally picked a concept that I like the most in all vector portraits that exist in the world. If you're a gamer, then you cannot be missing this out; Grand Theft Auto V. What a phenomenal game indeed. But what is more interesting is how they make their cover arts for the game itself. The vector portraits were produced by Rockstar North, with the leader of the team, Aaron Garbut (Credits to him and his team for creating such profound illustrations, and game too.) So, these are what the vector portrait basically looks like.

If you look closely, the vector is using a gradient technique which explains the high frequency of realistic qualities in each and every vectors. To be honest, i am not yet capable of using gradient in making a vector portrait, so i will use only flat colors but with details, i may achieve at least near to the quality of GTA V Cover Arts.
Next, I selected a few of my best photos that will be turn into a vector portrait. Its all 10 in total, but i have short listed my best 5, and lastly my best 1.

Both of the picture above are nice, although:
1. The first picture captured too much light, which make the photo lose it's contrast and shadow, making the face looks flat without shading and lines.
2. The latter one is almost there, lighting and attitude are on fleek. Although, the shades makes the picture lose its vital quality.
